Day 4 Hmmm and Week 1 Over

After going out with wonderful brother Padraig last week I decided with my fuzzy head on Friday that I would make a concerted effort over the next 4-5 days to eat healthy and exercise. That night in the pub …. OK I was in the pub in Kerry but I drank orange juice and several pints of water as I was playing Texas Hold Em (got to last 7 players didn’t win). Since then I have run twice and done one weights work out as per The Abs Diet. I weighed in last Wed 6th August at 96 kilos (I know ugh) and yesterday morning around hte same time I was 93.5 – down about 2.5 kilos or 5.5ish lbs.

I ate really carefully for the past three days as well watching my overall calorie intake and avoiding bread completely (I have had one slice in the past 4 days). I ate Rivita instead.

From experience these were the easy pounds as I had them to lose. Plan is to run tonight again, keep the sensible eating going – weekend approaches with temptations. Looked at Niamh’s left over Coors last night but opted for fizzy water instead (that was the lightning sounds about 10 O’Clock last night if anyone was wondering).

I would like to get to 91 by next Wednesday which would be faster than my last attempt at weight loss which I did without exercise though… watch this space.
