Your Site May be Sinking Below Sea Level

You may think your site is well designed but take some time to make sure the basics are right and bring your pages up to sea level as they may be sinking.  Good content is important but how it is written and structured will make sure the sea water is not lapping around your sites ankles.

We all want to optimise our websites to make them have the most traffic possible.  I always say that hard work is the main way to do this by working on your content through on page SEO and working outside the site for backlinks and improving your reputation.

There is no quick fix but there are some useful sites that can help you make the right decisions on what you re doing with your site.  Google Webmaster Central is one of he best sites to start with making sure that your site is at least doing the basic tasks correctly.  A few hours working with this site and your own site will ensure that the website you have is at least on a level playing field with the other sites out there.

The site can help you to

  • Ensure that your site meta and titles are accurate.
  • That there are no crawl errors on your site.
  • That your sitemap is accurate
  • Show your top site queries
  • Display your sitelinks.

I suggest that everyone should check this site at least once a week to make sure that they are not making any basic errors that are stopping Google indexing their content correctly. 7uyzqz9e82 – Hello Technorati!
