From Runnersworld (Part 2)

So here I am one hour later I am back from my run.  I dragged myself out for 30 minutes and feel 100% better after it.  I could have sat and watched TV all night but I made the small effort and did it and now feel so glad. I only ran for about 3 miles but if I sat at home I would have run ZERO miles.

Down by the River

Ran 3 miles last night from Carrigaline towards Crosshaven.  35 minutes plodding along.  Found it hard, definitely getting out of shape. But nearly didn’t do it so at least I was moving the legs.  Not stiff today though so I put most of it down to lack of energy through not eating during the afternoon  for the run.   I ran with a colleauge from the US who runs 4-5 times a week during his lunch hour so you can imagine the contrast with me who runs that many

Iphone Order Quantities

I went into the O2 shop in Cork yesterday in Patrick Street and asked if they had any Iphones (I knew the answer of course!!!).  They told me no.  I asked how long the waiting list was for the 16Gb and they told me there were 100 people on the waiting list – I nearly laughed in her face.  If that is anything to go by they will be lucky to get in 30 or so.  I think there will be a new version out before people can walk in and buy one off the shelf.
